Do you write a lot of Markdown? And find yourself linking to a lot of different web pages? Writing out Markdown URL tags can be a bit of a chore, so mdut is here to help!
mdut is a Python library and command-line utility for generating Markdown URL tags. This page promotes a bookmarklet supporting similar functionality from the browser. You drag it to your bookmarks (probably the toolbar), go to whatever page you want to link to, click the bookmarklet, and select and copy the desired snippet for pasting into your document.
